cup holder?

Is there a trick to this gadget that i don't know about??Or is it totally useless?

The large, soft rubber insert comes out of the holder and separates into two different adapters, and can be used in either cup holder spot. This allows for a LOT of versatility so that the holders can be used to handle ALMOST any size cup! It works really well!!

Yeah, I just have that piece rolling around in the back of the car...

I use the passenger seat adjuster knob to hold a Gatorade bottle.
Not my idea but it works great.

My phone snugs right down in the insert part's "mug handle notch" perfectly! It sits upright and I can see the screen.
