Digital clock, AM/PM vs. 24:00

Did someone manage to change the digital clock display from the 12 hours AM/PM setting to the "military" 24:00, or the other way around?
If yes, how did you do it?
Neither the owner's manual, nor the dealership technician could help. Even the author/adaptor of the manual doesn't know...

FYI, the Euro 451 Operators Instructions indicate NO provision to change the clock from 12 hour to 24 hour format. Apparently the 451 is "U.S.-ized" for the whole world.

Actually, the 450 and 454 didn't note that feature either.
