distinct idle?

The mechanic at the dealership said that it is normal for the smart car to idle with the 'tic' 'tic' vibration felt in my car because of the motor's three cylinder configuration. Since I have never experienced a car with this kind of idle before I wonder if other owners have noticed your smart idles a little on the rough side?

I get a tic tic at idle. Goes off and on. Not sure what it is but is something computer controlled. Certainly not an issue with me.

It's normal. I think of the engine as "purring" as in a really big cat and I enjoy the variations.
