Door hinge lubrication

OK, I've done a quasi-search and came up with little.

What lube is called out for the door hinge? White Li? PFTE?
And what is the most effective manner to apply?

(I have to admit: I have not had the time to study this owing to job constraints. Thanks in advance for your indulgence.)

Thanks, mate, I am looking for that product, but our local Lowes is just not in the market.

I just applied "Blaster" PFTE-based stuff and it seems to work just fine, leaving a fine veneer of dry lube with no door squeak.

Until the doors fall off, eh?

Oh yeah: it appears my MPG is improving as well, not to imply any relationship with the "Blaster" compound application.

Very timely information! Mine just started to complain on the driver's side. 09 Cabrio, picked up in August of last year, have 5000 miles on it.
I like your idea of a dry film lubricant.
Thanks for sharing, TMACK

Garage
I use a dry teflon made by Dupont, works great. Got it from Ace Hardware. Seems to do the same thing of leaving a dry film. Due to the dirt roads I drive on I continuously have to wash the dirt out of my hinges and latches and reapply often.
