Drivers seat stuck

The drivers seat is stuck in the most rearward position. The lever which would allow it to slide forward appears to be disconnected. Since the seat is all the way back there is no access to the rear bolts.
Any help would be appreciated.

If the lever is off, you'll just have to stick your head in there and see how to reattach it. Make sure you don't have a penny or something stuck in the track.

I see this happen all the time at my dealership.

Check for a coin or other obstacle in the track.

Any trick to checking the rail for foreign objects. I have been fishing with a magnet but to no avail.

Garage
flashlight and a mirror. Most coins are not magnetic, and can get wedged in or bent so they can be a real bear to get out.
