DRL on the 09

I have an 09 Pure. It did not come with DRL but I would like to have this feature. I heard it was a $50 option but was wondering if anyone knows how the dealer is activating the DRL capability.

As far as I know the DRL function on the North American 09s is activated at the factory, not at the dealer (as rumored for the EU cars.)
