'dumb'? question about cd player (stock)

I'd just like to know if there is any way to choose "random" play on the cd player and have a choice of any of the 6 installed cd's instead of "random" songs on just the cd that's playing....

Hope this makes sense. It's not that big a deal. I can't find anything in the manual or on the forum.

I would guess that the random function would only work on the CD that was at the read heads

I don't think they could do that because there would be such a delay between songs.
