E85 Gas usage??

Do not think so....cars that can are labeled as such.

No. E85 has 85% ethanol content. The 2008 is designed for no more than 10% ethanol content in its fuel.

Using E85 in a system not designed for it might work short term but can lead to corrosion.

You can check with smartusa, but as I remember things correctly related to E-85, if you use it in your smart you will have the opportunity to do major engine repair or replacement
