EVAP temp sensor in the right pass footwell

Have seen several references to this, and unplugging it to see if it improves A/C performance (after plugging it back in.) Where exactly is it located and how do you identify it (don't want to unplug the wrong item.) Thanks!

If you put something on the "shelf" up above the battery, my understanding is you're in danger of damaging the fine wires from this sensor on the left hand side of that cubby area.

There's a picture somewhere in one of the threads. But where?

I may have read or interpreted your words wrong, but I don't think it is a unplugging and re-plugging in a way to reset something other than to really make sure the connection is good, secure and clean. It may have been hit, could be on loosely or even worse the sensor could be broken/damaged.

If the connection for whatever reason is bad, the outlet air won't get cold.

Cool (or not, as the case may be) - so where is it and what does it look like?

as stated above, look up on the passenger side under the dash to the left side - quite thin wires going into a sensor pointed left towards the driver pedals. You can't miss it - even my wife knows where it is and can show you - ask me why
