Firefighter/First Responder Protocols

I just got my smart pure and want to show the many safety features to the other firefighters in my department. Is there a way to permanently disable airbags or seatbelt tensioners that do not deploy in an accident? This would keep them from deploying while we are working on a patient in a smart. Would the newer high power Hurst Tool ("Jaws of Life") and super hardened blades be needed to cut the Tridon cell? Is there any access to the battery other than through the passenger door? Any other unique access issues I've missed?

Check thread Had a visit from the fire dept.! especially post 4 (also a sticky). It contains the link to the how-to. Since I'm not into rescue, I don't know if the specifics you're looking for are in there, but they should.
Good luck. Thank you.
