I've seen this vid, or one like it before. This works for tires that are not punctured but have broken the bead with the rim.

It can also blow up in your face, cause severe burns and serious injury. I would never attempt it!

Yes, you are igniting flammable gasses (and contained in the tire, possibly explosive), but when done right, its fairly safe. The trick is to leave a 'fuse' by spraying a line away from the tire once you have sprayed inside it. Im a 4x4 nut, and have use the ether trick on many tires, in many weird situations. Were talking 54" diameter tires on a rig that is hanging on the side of a hill by a winch cable. Really, the hardest part is getting enough air in the tire after the bead has been seated before the expanding gasses cool and creates a vacuum pulling the bead back off.

Just be careful and you will be alright.
