Good news from sci about roof sunshades - new email

The good news is that smart has designed a new updated sunshade for you smart car. Unfortunately this new part is on backorder. I have been asking my parts specialist, Doug, everyday if any have arrived yet and they are still on back order as of today Monday October 6, 2008. I have one on order for each and every one of you, and I will contact each and every one of you as soon as they arrive. If you have anymore questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

There has been a problem with the screens not sliding open. They bind up and the guide will pop out of the track causing the scren itself to wrinkle up.

Adjusting the slide has helped with some of them.
