Has anyone swapped out their panels yet?

I got my extra set of panels and after talking with the dealer about the swapping history (only one job they have done so far) I chose to wait until they had a few swaps under their belt. Has anyone swapped theirs yet? If so, did you have a tech do it or did you do it yourself? I remember seeing something on the timing being 2-4 hours but I hear it's difficult to keep from breaking the clips so I don't want to attempt it myself.

My car was originally silver/silver, and is now white/silver. A tech did it, and told me that the 2-4 hour time was not realistic. I left mine overnight.

How much are the panel kits? I don't own a smart yet, but had been playing with the idea of ordering an extra set of panels when I do get one.

Thanks,

Mowog

So what did they charge you to do it?

Nothing. My swap was free, due to special circumstances.

That's the MSRP for them. I'm willing to ship too. I have silver, blue and red in stock.

I pulled all of my panels off and painted them, so I guess that qualifies as a "swap". Took about an hour to pull them off and maybe two to put them back on. Now that I've done it once it would take me about half the time. Piece of cake.

Pics and details at http://zenspeed.com/smart.html

Cheers,

Johnny
