I don't. Ask your dealer.

Dave777......once again, you come through with something that's truly beneficial to SCOA members! NOW I UNDERSTAND!! I had someone in a white Prius get behind me and ride my **s ALL THE WAY HOME one night with their BRIGHTS on! No matter what I did...this car followed. I'd move over........they'd move over.........I slowed down.....they slowed down. I even sat almost completely through a light after it had turned to green, and they STILL wouldn't go around. I SHOULD have called "911", but I didn't. I just couldn't figure it out. I finally managed to get over and slow down quickly enough to get a look at the driver, and it was an elderly lady!! I could NOT figure out what I had done to made her SO MAD! I KNEW that I hadn't tailgated her or anythiing, so I didn't understand!! Maybe NOW I DO!! Thanks again, Dave! I'll check the adjustment on mine later this evening. I HAD noticed the brightening/dimming at night on the side-streets next to my house, since there's NO streetlights. I had no idea what was causing it.........until now!! So SHE thought I was flashing my brights at her!!

Next time just pull into a local police station. That seems to scare them off. Or at least you have a witness if they ram your car.

When I switch to low beams, it goes to the passing lights so it flashes from hi to low to hi to low real quickly.

Thanks guys for all the information. I have been getting the highbeam flash and complaints from both my wife and my parents when I drove behind them at night.

Thanks again, Richard D. Shell, Troutville, VA

So how many turns or the adjuster are most of you doing to get the beams right? I have a garage but there is so much crap in it I cant see the back wall! I made a mark at 6:00 on the adjusters and turned them one half turn CW to 12:00. I'll see how that looks tomorrow night on the way home.

You're welcome all.

Paroyboy, I'd try 1 1/2 turns.

Any convenience store or gas station with low windows and an even ground is a good location to check it out: stop the car facing yourself and see if you're blinding yourself...
