Headlight Cap

Hey everyone -

Apparently when I was changing out my headlights I misplaced the cap that you put on back of the headlight. Anyone have one that I can buy or point me in the right direction (please dont say call your dealer.......no one calls me back there)?

Yeah, I lost mine. I called three dealers. Laguna Niguel was out of stock. Beverly Hills wanted $16 and West Covina was asking $10. I wanted to pick it up at W.C. when I brought the Smart in for my 10K but instead of giving it to me, they installed it and charged me a few bucks for labor. I complained that I just wanted to pick up the part. The cashier said they would have to talk to the service manager so I just said, "Forget it!"

The covers for the high and low beam lights are nothing but rubber cups. I didn't research inexpensive "Home Depot" alternatives but I'm sure they exist. Any ideas from the Forum?

BE.SMART is right about nobody calling you back, too. I had to call each dealer several times to get a stock check.

I'm thinking caps like the first set in this document. I think rubber or silicone would be better, though. I'm sure it beats the dealer price.
