Hill Start Assist

Works when the tranny is in drive or manual. Not in reverse. That is how the car knows to put on the brake instead of rolling backwards down a hill.

I'm back mentioning this problem again. I think I may have to get it checked out. Today I was stopped on a hill with someone behind me. I was in D (automatic) and as soon as I lifted my foot off the break I was rolling back. I placed my foot back on the break, took it off, and as soon as it started rolling back again I grabbed the handbreak and did my own hill assist. I feel as if I should not have to be doing this. The hill was not even extremely steep.
