Installation Instructions

Having ordered a few accessories and found, in some cases, the installation instructions were missing and in some other cases the instructions were less-than-helpful, I've decided to scan/OCR/PDF the instructions I have and also to enhance them where helpful. I will follow up with a separate post for each item to make searching easier. If others could include instructions for their accessories, this could become a great forum resource.

Tim

Rubber Floormats installation instructions

Installation instructions for rubber floormats. Note that three plastic screws are needed for the driver side mat, none are needed for the passenger side mat. My mats came with only two screws, even though the instructions state six are needed!

Sunglass case installation instructions

I recommend using a short-handled screwdriver, at least for the right-side screw. It's becoming a theme with smart accessories that new, permanent holes must be made to install these things!

Divider plus cargo net installation

This is the more expensive version that has the net that attaches to the roof. The big surprise here is that the instructions assume the dealer has already installed the brackets, so you are told only how to connect the divider, which wouldn't be that hard to figure out. As there were no instructions for installing the brackets, I had to snoop around and figure everything out. Part of the installation requires (more!) permanent holes, this time in the rear headliner piece. Installation should be much easier for others who get to follow my directions.

Those are the instructions for the carpet floor mat. There are three screws for each side.

Add that to the list of the oddities, I guess, then. Got the carpet mat instructions with my rubber mats. The other side was all foreign languages, so I don't think I missed a separate set of "rubber mat" instructions. My guess is maybe they made one generic set but forgot to account for the difference in the number of screws.
