Also, when slinging around the various cleaners, keep in mind that the rear "wing windows" (those little plates at the back edge of the doors) are also made of polycarbonate, and should be treated the same as the roof when you do the cleaning.

No Terry, read the DOT sticker on the wing window, E6 Solid Tempered. The windshield is an E6 Laminate.

Beleve it or not...70% alcohol may be better than (91%) due to higher water content(better penetration in-between other molecules)...with soft cotton cloth. Then you may follow up with newsprint and windex.

Revisiting this post - but I have a similar problem. The outside of my driver's side window has a weird film on it that Windex or Invisible Glass won't seem to get off. Anyone else have this? I'm thinking since I've only had my cabrio since August this is the only window I've put up and down (bank and donut drive up etc...). Maybe there's something in the window slide area?

I'm going to try to use magic eraser tomorrow morning - can't hurt?
