Supergeek, redbluff and I watched the STAR machine at the Columbus service center yesterday and while the diagnostic program isn't Windows, the OS for the STAR computer is WinXP. It took several tries and software updates to get his car's fuel gauge parameters recalibrated but in the process of all that his DRL function disappeared. So, very much like Windows IMHO.
