manual window handle

I just got my Pure and with the window closed, the window crank handle knob is in just the right position to press against my knee going down the road. Is it possible to remove the handle, turn it 180 degrees and put it back on?? how do they come off?? C- clip? screw? or ??

Thanks. If this is my only issue, Life is good!!

On many cars one must remove a piece of plastic that covers a screw that holds the handle in place, it may be so with the smart also. If this is so... then after loosening and removing the handle it should be replaced in another position. The handle should clear in window extreme up and down position. Hope this will help.
I entertained the idea of ordering a PURE... if electric windows would have been an option.

I contemplated the electric windows but I figured I could just reach across, and there would be one less thing to break down someday.

I'll have to look at the handle a little closer and see how it is held on.

some of the manual mechanisms are more complex than the power ones today. Sorry I can't help with the attachment don't have them myself.

So how is it held? Screw or wachamacallit compression clip?
If it uses compession clip you can use an old rag, slip it between the door panel and handle, and pull the rag back and forth about the cranck handle shaft. The rag will catch the clip and spin it until it drops off.

I also don't like the manual windows. My handle is ok while window is up, it's when it is down that it gets in my way and I usually just take it almost all the way down and use it that way. Guess I'll just have to stop using those darned drive-thru windows so much!!
