Here is what DAS list as to P0887. Will list this step by step so sorry if confusing. I am also going to assume you are seing this code in the N15/6 module, not sure if your reader list that.
Check battery voltage range between 11v to 14v
Test prerequisite:
Inspect wiring at connectors at connection points for loose contacts, corrosion, damage and short circuts. Repair and replace as required.
Checks to be performed:
Actuation of relay N10/10k9 (Automated manual transmission relay)
Das then switchs to a control panel that allows us to cycle the relay on and off to test for acutuation of the relay and see if the voltage changes.
If it test ok you are done, no more test available.
If it fails then possible cause could be a bad N15/6 module, and it recommends to replace the N15/6 module.
Sorry not much to go on but least you know what the dealer knows now.
I will say that from working on these things for a year and a half now they are VERY sensitive about other electronics being in the system, and even if does not look like you could be effecting something there is a lot going on behind the scene that might be acting up.
