Try it with any SONY labeled Cd made after 1997. (Arista, BMG, Columbia, etc.) I went through my collection and managed to locate one that shows the album and track title.

Too bad the 09 manual contains no disclaimer about the Radio text. None of the Radio 10's at the dealership will display radio text. FM broadcasters have been transmitting this data since at least 2000 in the US. There are no *s or 1)s next to the instructions on page 10. (second column which talks about the function)

Same here......I had a Diana Krall CD that DIDN'T show any info on the display even though the 'CD Info Display' was "ON". I did have a GNR CD that DOES show it's info. Just depends on the CD.

As to the cupholder, mine has a 'one piece' rubber insert. No additional pieces and during my 3-4 test drives of '08s, never noticed an additional insert either. But then on their demos, they may have had them removed. I see no reason to have an additional insert, as both will hold either a standard size aluminum can OR a larger cup from a fast food joint.

All works for me.......
