Only if you don't have a well-stocked junk box -- the best mods don't cost anything!

This is a very nice idea, but if it's not simply a $2.50 fuse holder, two $0.15 spade connectors, and a small square of double-sided tape, what is it?

Not sure why we're having this discussion - those that want to DIY are free to do so; others wanting something ready to plug and play have this option. What's the big deal?

The big deal is called false advertising. People are being led to believe that this isn't as obviously simple as it appears, and therefore must be worth paying the $20 plus shipping for.

If anyone wants a different "plug and play" option at a fair price, feel free to contact me.

And how are they being led to believe that?

Website:

"This is not just a simple fuse block that you can pick up at a local Radio Shack. It is made exclusively for us..."

Same part minus the 10 cent connectors:

WoooHooo...false advertising? Anything is only worth what people are willing to pay for it; is a smart worth $15K? Yes to those that bought one, no to those that think it's too expensive. Same with this - some will want the convenience and included fuse and if they're willing to spend the $$ so what. Dial it down a little, please.

Yes, false advertising. As my original post stated, if this isn't just a standard fuse holder you can pick up at Radio Shack, then what is it?

however you do it doesnt really matter. ive had mine for a year now and wouldnt go back. i come out after work and as soon as i open the door, the windows are both going down making it much cooler. in temp.
UNLESS...
i had to go to the dealer for warranty electrical work.
i had a faulty radio and they first tried to blame the window bypass.
it might be best to remove it before that.
