Heh heh - I stand corrected. I was gathering the info to show that the ATC blade fuse holder wasn't available from Radio Shack when - surprise! - four items from $2.69 to $2.99.

I tried this mod and it worked great until yesterday, the passenger window wouldn't do anything. As the car has 20xxx miles on it I took it to the dealer thinking the motor or wire in the door was bad as the driver window worked perfectly and they are both on the same fuse.$135 later it works after the tech said the mod confused the computer (?) and it was returned to factory specs and was not covered by warranty because it was caused by an aftermarket mod. Did I get shafted or is this possible?

I suppose it's possible, but regardless, I would have removed the jumper before bringing the car in anyway.

I just did my FREE Window Mod.

One of the Canadians handed me a little packet yesterday with the fused Jumper in it and the instruction. These things are so cheep he was just giving them away like Smarty Candy. Took me longer to find and see the numbers on the fuse box, and to go get some needle nose to pull the fuse than to do the Mod.

since my other car has the nice feature of allowing the windows be be operated for about 30 seconds after you turn off the ignition, this will be quite useful. Quite a few times I have turned off the car only to have to turn the key back on to put up the windows. Usually with my wife still putting up hers as I pulled the Key.

Now I know if something does wrong the first thing I do is pull the jumper and put the fuse back BEFORE going to a dealer with questions.

Same here, I got one from the Canadian smart drivers. I plan to install mine soon. Can't wait!
