P0410 Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction

re this code, anyone else throw it? my Scangauge II just arrived to day, and I was able to diagnose the MIL, but the scangauge won't clear the code.

(tried using the search, but the site is so slow (and completely off, no icons or smilies showing!) sorry.)

That's because you are going to need the same part that I am currently waiting for. It's a computer thing again.

After 1100 miles or so, I got the 410 code on my ScanGauge (the engine light had just lit) and called my dealer. She checked with the tech dept and told me to come in that afternoon, which turned out not to be too inconvenient. They replaced whatever needed replacing, I guess, and the car was ready a few hours later.

P0410 code

Mine came on . I read it with my scanner and called the dealer. They fixed it in under 30 minutes. Secondary air valve. These will probably be a recall as it fails on many Smarts.

Same issue on my car at 490 miles. Dallas smart center fixed it quickly and I've had no other problems at all. I'm at 2100 miles now.

I just had a valve replaced due to this code. My check engine light had come on at 800 or so miles and I took it to the dealer.

Do any of you have an invoice with the part number for the valve on it?
I want to be sure it's in stock for my appointment next week.

I seem to be getting better gas mileage w/out a functioning one. have not had time for the dealer yet. glad to hear it's a quick fix though!
