Panels are a dust magnet - any ideas to lessen?

HI,
So I live on a gravel road and have dust on my new smart every time I drive in or out. Yes, I know that dust is inevitable; but this guy grabs and hold the dust so much more than our other cars. Its a very noticeable difference. It seems like the plastic panels are statically charged to hold the dust.
Anyone had any success with any product that might lessen the dust's desire to be on the panels? I don't want to have to stop and buff the thing with my california duster THAT often! ;)

Plexus or Novus polishes should do the trick.

Buy a California car duster they work great and are gentle, I used them all the time on my Ferrari and never had to wet wash it, except after a rain.

CA duster - got one.

rerruf: Got one. No, let me correct that. I probably have 4, one for each car and RV. Note original post: "I don't want to have to stop and buff the thing with my california duster THAT often!"

We did a test and waxed the lower rear panel and then drove to see if it made any difference. None.
I think its 2 things: the car closer to the ground and the plastic holds the dust once it gets it.

But did you use the polish Dan suggested?
The plastic has a static charge.
Dan thinks the Novus will cut that back.

Next try Static Guard,
I used it on my other car's seat to stop getting zapped every time I touched it. It worked.

Or, you could throw your smart into the dryer with some 'Cling Free.'

there ya go.....just rub it all over your car before you go out! of course, you'll have to keep a box in the car for your return trips too!

oh, wait....that's only if your smart gets hit and is 'wrinkled'!!!

(j/k of course....i have no idea what a dryer sheet will do to the finish of those plastic panels and i don't want YOU to be the first to find out either!)

I like the 'toss into the dryer with some Cling Free' idea. Makes me chuckle ** oh wait; the whole smart experience makes me chuckle.
But I'll actually dry one of those dryer sheets and see if it does anything different than the CA duster.
I don't have any Novus wax but will look for some at the car parts store; when I pick up my puncture repair kit.

Be sure to use Lemon Pledge on that smart of yours! I use it on my motorhome vice conventional wax and it works great. Good advise!
