Post your 1/4 mile times here

In honor of another thread started by crateampscal, this seems like such a bizarre concept that we have to do it. So, as people get their cars and after the recommended break-in period, please take your car to a local drag strip for a "test and tune" night and let us know the times. Will have to wait for spring here but some of you in warmer climes might be able to give us some feedback in January.

Ha ha.... yes good call jwight..... let the lies begin!

I am member on several car and truck sites.... two most embellished items are ET and MPG!

One site is big enough that one dummy thought he could get away with a photo of his launch and then posted some other cars time slip... within three posts, someone who was there, posted the photo of the car going throught the final trap and the 4 second higher ET....BUSTED!

Will we be required to compensate for altitude, wind velocity, octane, and method of gear selection?

Thanks, jwight! 1/4 mile ET's just don't get it by way of calculations, I know. But what to do when faced with not having a car to find out? The numbers will come I am sure.

[QUOTE=SnakeFarm;11756]If somebody will donate a fortwo, I'll get to work on the trebuchet.

If memory serves, Virginia Military Institute (VMI) is the U.S.'s premier trebuchet constructor, with international competition already under thier belts.
