What software are you using to burn your CDs? I am finding my newly burned CDs do not show id3 info. I have some old (turn of the century) CDs which do display the information. I've tried with Nero and Easy Media Creator so far, with no joy. Searching for an answer.

I'm using MS Media Player to rip to MP3. If your PC is connected to the internet while you are ripping, it will add the tag information to the file. The when you burn the MP3 disk, the data will be there in the file.

I have ripped a number of cd's in all cases, I have been connected to the internet as my system is always on line.

In some cases, older cd's (really old) I get nothing but the album name and track number, not the name of the song. In other cases I get all the information, and to complicate the situation, two new cd's I just got only provide information when in the MP3 file mode.

Bottom line for me. I get the most consistent information by using the MP3 file mode

My tags are in place, I do it with WinAmp. I find that auto tag too often gives erroneous information ... especially concerning the source CD. But, do you also use MS Media Player to burn your disks?

Odd thing about Radio 10 though. The very same CD which was last night not giving up its id3 info was displaying proudly this morning. Nothing has changed, except the radio (CD player) just decided to display. Then, this afternoon ... back to nadda.
