Radio Problem - Please Help

Picked up our new Passion Coupe today and we only have one minor issue: Before turning the car off I turn off the radio HOWEVER when I start the back up the radio comes on by itself. Now keep in mind this does not always happen but it does this about every other or every third time. The reall funny part is that our "Sales Lady" noticed this and "checked with the techs and they told her this is just something they do once in a while" Seriously she was soooo full of SH-T !

One way to solve this is to not turn the radio off. When it comes on when starting the car, you won't be annoyed. I don't seem to have this problem with mine, however. When its off, it stays off.

Remember way back when, like last November, when people were wondering how the dealer infrastructure was going to be up and fully running by this January? A lot of us had our doubts - this is just another example of problems with service and parts, both of which should have been up to speed prior to the cars arriving IMHO.

We don't need no stinkin' radios........... seriously, ya gotta love a car so polite it turns the radio on for ya.

If its a radio issue then I can swap you mine...im going to cut it up in a day or so to install my after market one..let me know.

My radio starts up EVERY time I start the car. I haven't looked at the manual for the radio to see if it's something I can turn off.

It's very annoying.

Mine comes on every time the car starts, even if I turn it off before turning off the car. Now I just turn the volume way down, not off. Still annoying but not so bad now.
