Make sure your passenger seatbelt clip is hanging in front, not aside, the seat.

I have this same rattle also, it has done it since day one.
It normally only rattles when strong wind blows from the front drivers side across to the passenger side.
Not sure what it is yet but it's annoying.

Right Side rattle

It rattles weather or not some one is belted in the passenger seat. I road in the passenger seat today and it sounds like it is low and behind you. most noticeable above 30 mph

Try Spraying some silicon spray into the door Latches and on the rubber seal at the rear of the door. I have over 8,000 miles on my 2008 Cab. and this certainly fixes my cars rattles and squeaks.

Rattle - Buzz

I had a problem a year ago with my Outback developing a strange noise, not a rattle, but a low frequency buzz. It would come and go with different road speeds (windspeeds). I took it to the dealer, and the senior tech thought he knew what it was and we took it out for a spin. Of course it didn't make the noise. He asked me if I had had the windshield replaced and I told him that it was replaced in the early Spring. He said the noise sometimes happens with the replacement rubber seal - it vibrates. Instead of chucking on the spot for a new OEM seal, I decided to experiment and took a short piece of electrical tape and moved it to various places along the seal and bodywork. I finally found the spot where the noise stopped. Then I lifted the edge of the seal in that area and ran a thin bead of clear RTV to "glue" it down. No more noise. Apparently the noise began when the rubber seal warmed up in summer weather and became more flexible. So, curing the "rattle" may be something that simple.

Nope, mine definitely only does it in head wind coming from the driver's side.

I think I noticed it but it was the seatbelt, just bring it in front of the seat. not hanging by the door as was suggested.

The rattle you hear is probably coming from the passenger side visor/mirror. Try touching that when you hear the sound and see if your hand stops the rattle.
