Rear skid plate on 2005 cabrio?

I just bought a 2005 cabrio and noticed it doesn't have a skid plate at the back (under the engine). I thought I saw one before I bought it, but the alternator died on it so the dealer where I bought it fixed the alternator, but now I don't see any skid plate at the back. Not sure if the dealer forgot to replace the skid plate or whether there was never a skid plate there to begin with.

Is there supposed to be a skid plate at the back?

Definitely a 450; can't tell if it's a Cabrio or not. No skid plate:

...hey John ...didn't Ian from Canada (yellow 450) said at the Indy track that his turbo/oil change was a b***h to do 'cause of the bottom plate?..

I don't remember talking with him; most of the 450 folks are doing the oil change by having the oil sucked out the dipstick tube.
