Hello;

I would like to have my Smart honk the horn when I lock the car with the remote. Is this possible? In other cars I've had you can add/delete this feature via the in-car computer.

Has anyone done this or know how to?

Order the car with factory alarm and the alarm will hound you from the point of delivery on. If you find a way to shut it off please let me know. Thanks

I have found no way to sit it to sound on the passion w/o an alarm. I am going to wire to the horn off of the relay that causes lights to flash when you lock/unlock the car. This way, each time the lights flash, the horn will toot.

Now, the hard part, to find that relay

In theory our computers can be set up to allow this but at this point smart dealers don't have the tool to make the changes for us.
