Removal of side marker lights

Does anyone know how to remove the side marker lights? I looked at the instructions in the manual, and can't figure out how to get my fingers in there without removing the door and hinge!

I've got condensation inside the lens of the passenger-side light and would like to dry it out...

Try using a hair dryer without taking it apart first.

But don't bring the hair dryer's nozzle too close to the body panel: it's plastic!

I appreciate the replies, but in mid-50 degree weather, a hairdryer on low won't do squat to dissipate the water that is in there. I need to open it up and swab it out!

Take a thin (and I mean *thin*) flat-bladed screwdriver, and carefully (and I mean *CAREFULLY*) insert it between the lamp housing and the body panel at the rear of the lamp. Press in on the screwdriver toward the lamp (e.g. toward the front of the car), which releases the tab back there, and the lamp should pop right out.

I can't emphasize *CAREFULLY* enough; you don't want to gouge your body panel!

Is your car under warranty? Water should not be getting in... sounds like a warranty repair to me... Give the dealer a call...
