Reverse disappears from dash screen?
Anyone had this phenomenom - reverse indicator disappearing from the dashboard screen, and reverse not working? I've recently had this intermittent problem, going from drive to reverse, no indicator on the dash and no reverse. I've then placed the car in park, turned the engine off and been able to reverse. Nothing on the dash for idiot lights, or trouble codes...but I'm Irish, and I generally make these myself!
Thoughts, suggestions?

Found the answer
Read a few forums and found it is a software update repair for my 2008 Passion.

Yep, off to the dealer. My '08, got a new clutch (pre-new software days) and has been fine ever since.

When it happens to me I just push the smart a few inches and then for some reason it can engage.
