They will replace your roof. In my case Orlando Smart Center overnighted the roof from Europe. Also, plan to leave your car overnight, so adhesive can cure properly.

It rained this morning on the way to work. The blue 3m painters tape kept the rain out of the car on the 27 mile trip to work. Going to call the service manager this morning and come "unglued on"

let him know the lack of customer service you are experiencing from the dealer on such an IMPORTANT matter. they should tow the car in for you, and due to this being a noted recall issue, they have to provide you with a rental... as its staying over night.

This thread reminds me of a thought/question I had when I initially bought my smart...
Do you think there is some sort of aftermarket way to make our panoramic roofs "pop up" like a non powered sunroof?

In the past I've found a website called something like streetbeat customs, or something along those lines that sell custom, diy powered ragtops for any car, and I think I remember them having a kit for the smart...

Have any of you seen something like this?

Ben Thomas is not the person to contact with this problem he is in charge of sales not getting the vehicle serviced

at 10:40 i got a call with no concern they told the roof has been ordered the roof is on national backorder. She is going to call me a week from today and let me know when the roof and roof kit will be in. i'm really getting a bad feeling about (park place motors) aka smart of dallas!!!
