ScanGauge, anyone have this problem, how to fix?

My scangauge II which probably about a month old suddenly started recycling for no apparent reason. I generally leave it on MPG tank, or Day, but it has started literally flashing every setting at me.

Anyone got a quick fix, I really hate to send the little bugger back.

Try to reset back to default settings. Then reset back to the proper setting for the Smart car
1. 1 litre engine
2. 8 gallon tank
etc, p1nball

Over the last few years I've had mine it occasionally blanks out, I unplug it then replug it back in - does a reset and then all is well. Not exactly the same problem as yours but maybe the solution could be the same.

Thanks Guys!!

I'll try both your solutions, hopefully one or the other or both will work.

You have an overpriced generic scan tool that is only able to read the data required by law to be available. Mine annoys me much less when I keep it in a box. Have fun reading what happened.
