seat belt beeper

OK we fixed the Auto-locks. Now anyone know how to turn off the seat belt beeper. Before I get blasted I sometimes move my car NOT in traffic up a long driveway with out the belt on.

Why not just plug it in and sit on it the strap for the few minutes it takes to go up the driveway? Just be sure to use it when you are back in shape and go to venture out onto the public roads.

Yea, my mailbox is far enough away from my apartment that I get the beeps, but not close enough for me to be bothered with the seat belt, so I feel your pain.

I belt habitually, so the belt goes on when the car is going to move... even though it may not be necessary. IMO, a good habit. Technically, I suppose you're supposed to buckle up before you start the car ... but, I like to live dangerously.

My car quits beeping by the time I'm buckling up. It's not a persistant nag.

If you drive off without the belt on, it will start chiming agin after you exceed (I think it is 8) MPH. It will chime for a while when this happens... eventually it stops, but it does go off again.

Haha! Well, my apartment complex is a huge oval, so I come in from work, drive left to get my mail, then drive aaaall the way to the other end of the oval to my apartment.
