Service interval

Hello,

This may have been answered elsewhere but I haven't seen it:

How often should I get my car serviced at the dealership?

Also, should I get the oil changed every 3000 miles?

Finally, where do I get oil filters? Jiffy Lube didn't have any that would fit when I went for my first oil change at 3,000 miles.

Thanks jwight. This can't be emphasized enough. Read the manual. The car's different in so many small ways that you really have to read the manual on this one. It's not a stereo where all the buttons are obvious; the car has hidden behaviors that will drive you batty if you don't understand them.
