Thanks Paul.

And here's a reminder that paint codes and much more information has been collected by Dunerunner and posted in the SCOA Club Members Only thread in a sticky post SCOA Member Technical Reference Library.

Another good reason to be a supporting member!

Another good reason not to join SCOA

Do you guys think that by withholding information from the rest of the membership of this site it will make us want to join you. I think not.

Do you want Smart America to become a pay site?

A former and early member of SCOA....A2Jack.

a2jack!! The information in the Members Technical Library is available to everyone, you just use the search function to find it in the forum.

Everything there was posted by members and supporting members in the public area of the forum, all I did was link to it in the Technical library and make that accumulated data readily available to members.

Fortimo. Lots of love here, but also a driving mindset to keep this forum FREE.

FYI, I have been a strong supporter of this site from it's early beginnings and plan to continue to support the open dispersal of Smart car information to it's fans.

The bitter taste comment was uncalled for. A2Jack.

Dunerunner. That's all well and good, but you took an informative post that was meant for all to read, and buried it away so that it it can now be reached only by a search.

Further, at no time was the general user of this board informed that tech information was being stored in a limited access place, and had to searched out.

Or am I misreading this, and you are only linking, and the original post continues to exist where it originality was posted? What about tech info generated by your club members, is that open to nonmembers as well?

I believe a post or two in General Discussion to help inform the rest of the membership as to what is going on, would be appropriate here. A2Jack

Original posts continue to exist on the general forum. You or any member can find them by using the search function. The library exists to assist supporting members in answering technical questions and helping members get the information they need, rather than just posting "SEARCH"!
