Any one with knowledge, intel, experience, hear-say, etc., regarding a spurious SRS warning light?? My delivery is being held up for such a thing.
Sorry to hear there is a holdup with delivery. All I can say for certain is the light means the bags will not fire in the event of a crash and all the circuitry in the system could be the cause. I hope they find the fault and you can start enjoying your car. I look forward to your views of the machine. Best of luck .

Karl, almost immanently. Fred, if one were calling fall-of-shot in a Navy surface gunnery exercise, both your prediction and the DDE would have scored an "Alfa Mike."

Reason: To separate it from an Army slang cognomen; in Navy gunnery, it is a "bullseye." Probably shoulda' just said bullseye.
If I had known about all the trouble with the SRS light...I would've never disconnected my sensors to my seat. I was pulling my seats out to vacuum under them, so, I unbolted them, unplugged everything...modded my seat so it would recline all the way back. I put everything back in and boom, airbag light...
I took it to the Smart dealer and they said that since it was disconnected with the ignition on, it may have thrown a code. (Which isn't covered under warranty!!! UGH!) The code scanner doesn't read these codes. I just disconnected the battery and am leaving it to sit for a while. Hopefully, it will reset the codes and go away...
