Stuck in Park

As many of you know, my smart car had a deer strike. In a few days it will be towed to the body shop. Currently, there is no power to the car. The adjuster had to disconnect some wiring harness. No power, unable to shift out of park, can't unlock the steering wheel. The adjuster doesn't recommend hooking anything back up. This means that the car is stuck in park and it needs to be in N for towing. Is there anywhere over ride this, other than have to reapply power to the car?

When my car had to be towed to the dealer, they just pulled it up on a big tilting flat bed truck. The locked (with parking brake applied) rear wheels just skidded up the truck bed.

Ouch! Sounds mechanically incorrect. Any other way?

Why did the adjuster (take it upon himself to) disconnect some wiring harness? Is the underwriter going cover any problems or expense the adjuster may have caused?

Are you going to have the bodywork done at Checkered Flag's shop?

To prevent the airbag deployment while he was poking around.

Yes

Yes. Squirk heads to the body shop on Monday.
