JPaul - I saw this at the Lombard Rally and it is not a paint blister. I think SnakeFarm is the only magnetically lucky soul to have experienced that phenomenon. This one is a definate rip in the 3M ClearBra.

Well, crap - now that I look at it more closely there is a gash in the paint under the bra tear.

I suppose once the bra is removed from that portion they can buff or touch it up.

Nope, won't be covered under warranty.

Small scratch vs. a huge gouge had the ClearBra not been there.

Right-On! I'm totally sold on this product.

I just can't imagine how it happened. It wasn't there when we left Salem, I would have seen it when I washed the car. But it was there when I got to the Lombard staging area. It couldn't have happened while I was driving - I surely would have noticed!

I'll let ya'll know the fix and the cost.

Will this work until it's fixed?

KUDOS to smart center Portland!

Excellent News!

There was no damage to the paint under the tear!

Because of the puckering on the edge, scpdx agreed that it had not been installed perfectly, so there was no charge to replace the clear bra on that panel!!!

It was a perfect dealer interaction today - in and out in less than an hour, fixed to like new and free!

And they are all so friendly!
