It looks to me that in Europe they are hiding the cost of the silver into the price of the Passion. Here in the US my guess is that they are trying to keep the cost down, so those that want black aren't paying for those who want silver as well. You only pay for want you want. A great idea.

The reason they charge more for the Metallic Silver Tridion Cell color option, is simply that...because it is "Metallic". They happen to do the same thing with the exterior colors, and the Metallics (Red, Blue, Silver) are more money. Just a heads up.
