Warranty Options Help Please

I have read many threads discussing the options for extended warranty on the smart. I am less than a week away from making the decision. The problem i have is that I have no idea what it costs to fix a car like this as i have driven MB for the last 20 years. If i need a out of warranty repair at the benz dealer, it is bend over time. set of spark plug wires (dealer item) were $350 last week, along with a mass airflow sensor (another $390) and plugs and labor, I am over 1500. Will these cars have crazy expensive parts like this and a computer that typically only the delaers can read? Has there been a consensus about which company offers the best extended warranty for the price and level of service? THANK YOU FOR YOUR INPUT

The finance manager at my dealer informed my I DO NOT have to make an immediate decision on this. She said I have one year to make this purchase (after delivery).

So.. do not panic. You may wish to do some research on alternatives to the smart branded policy offered by your smart center as well. It is administered through a 3rd party. Other companies do offer coverage on the smart and I would recommend educating yourself before signing any agreement. My decision was to procrastinate....
