I'd at the very least want the warranty to last as long as the loan period!

4/50 would keep me happy
and even at $500 per each additonal year would work

I agree on the warranty issue. I sent an e-mail to the smart site and was told that the warranty issue was not available yet, but they did say the dealers must sell the cars for the sticker price. No dealer mark-up or ADM as some dealers say. Good to hear on that.

I think we now have enough votes to conclude that and ovewhelming majority (88%) of the Smart buyers are demanding a warranty that is 3 years or longer without additional charge.

I will not buy a car with only a 2 year/24K warranty, and I know I'm alone on this one.
