WEIGHT

put the car on the local grain elvator scales this morning, this is with three bars on the gas gage, it weighed 1780, with 1000 on the rear,, so it looks like about a 56% rear 44% front,, this is a big scale for weighing grain trucks it changes 20# at a time but i think this gives a good idea

Got on the scales today

a friend in need is a pest indeed my friend Dick was kind enough to reconfigure his shop for me today so we could see the weights

with out driver full load of fuel (wet)

LF 390 RF 404

LR 529 RR 525

With driver full fuel

LF 486 RF 416
LR 628 RR 585

looking at this leads me to conclude: The driver needs to cut down on the beer the car is as light as most anything I can remember the old scirocco was close.

Lotus Elise weighs 1900 lbs. Has only 180 hp and does the 1/4 mile in 12.5. Shouldn't these Smarts feel a little faster?

My kit car was 2000 lbs with a 327 V8 built to 300 hp. It was scary fast.
