It was just where Evilution said it was. And I'm sorry to see it was a BOSCH ECU, rather than a Mitsu. Two plugs, looks like they have the Audi/VW symbol on them. I think I've seen the same type plugs on BMWs as well. Until more headway is made on ECU monitoring (and yes, I have seen the Scangauge postings here) and hacking, it might be interesting to see what other parameters might be read coming directly off the sensors to the ECU.
Like maybe:
-Throttle Position
-RPM
(both of those might be readable to a fuel controller like a S-AFC)
-O2 sensor voltage
-intake air temp.

Does anyone know if VWs have a patch harness, sort of like this?
