Windshield wiper blades

I am not sure where this should go so I will put it in the general discussion.
I just had my 10000 mile service done at the dealer. Not too bad, or at least not as bad as I thought. But they did mention that I needed to replace the windshield wiper blades (or at least I thought he was talking about the blades until they quoted the price) Maybe they were talking about the blade and the arm and the motor and the windshield... OK well not that bad. Anyway the price is $73 for the set!!!! Now I realize that these are MB products, and I know that EVERYTHING seems to be way overpriced (I have never owned a MB) but $73 for 3 windshield wiper blades seems to be way over the top! Anyone have a sight that has aftermarket wiper blades for less? Before anyone says anything....... I DID USE THE GOOGLE SEARCH! Yes I know, google is my friend.
Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

Eh, other than the fact that you can't just replace the inserts - as these are internally sprung blades, it does seem slightly high.

A set of blades + rear for my VUE runs about $58, so it's not too far off though... the fronts are a pain because the blades are 2 significantly different sizes, and the 11" blade on the rear is high as well.

Go to rockauto.com. They list front blades for the fortwo. $10.42 each side. Much better.

you'll pay for that on these maintenance items. I bought a pair for the Vette at my son's dealership and at cost they were $29. Through Auto Zone they're $19. I did get him to put them on for free .

Does anybody know if RainX has blades tofit the smart? Their website doesn't have the smart listed as yet.

With proper attention like cleaning them once a month with alcohol, I get at least a full year out of a good set of wiper blades. Ofcourse, if the blades are damaged/ripped, etc, that's a different story. Mine have been on since new in early February and even used in Winter thru some snow, ice, etc and they still wipe very well.

I suppose smart is not as generous as my AUDI dealer was when my A6 was still under warranty and replaced the blades as needed. What are we to expect yet?

I thought I saw TireRack selling Valeo brand wiper blades. Maybe they have blades for our cars.
