100,000 mile G&K car. Is it the first?

I just posted this in reference to a question on the 451 side, but wanted to be sure all you guys and gals knew it as well. Here's the posting:

One of our customers in St. Louis just reported to me that he has surpassed 100,000 miles on his 2006 450. I realize this question was probably posted for the 451 group, but thought I'd report this anyway. Good number. He's changed oil every 10,000 miles, as the manual suggests, but has made one revision to the recommendations. At his first oil change, he switched to a product called AMSOIL synthetic oil, instead of Mobil 1. The car has been operationally trouble free. He's currently at 100030 miles.

Whoa, that's a good ultimate goal for my friend, but in the US, he might still be high for the G&K conversion group.

Thanks for digging up great news about the smart. I can see mine lasting 20 or 30 years, if we still have gas available.

Pictures about the car running over half million kilometers:

500.000-km-Test Smart city-coupé - Wie lange hält ein Smart? - Testberichte - autobild.de

That could be almost the economic limit of the lifetime. May be, an admirer had invested the money for the necessary repairs after that long way. But sadly the owner was a company, who didn´t

In 20 - 30 years you won't want to be driving around in that old gas Guzzler

That is wonderful... a CDI (diesel) like mine! I am only at 70,000km trouble-free and hope, wish, wish for such longevity.
