My car is overheating. It appears that the water pump is not pumping. It has about 6500 miles. Is there a relay for the pump? Thanks in advance.

[ Is there a relay for the pump? When does it over heat? while driving or idling? water pump is on the engine, turns by a belt, check the belt if loose or off, and check for low antifreeze level!

Have you bled the air out of the system?
